The second I put these on, my initial thought was that they were tight but felt GOOD. They weren't heavy or air-constricting (our feet need to breathe!), and how could I not get a little extra "cheerful" when I looked down and saw neon green staring back at me?!
Here are some additional facts and info according to the PRO Compression website:
1. True compression improves blood flow resulting in less fatigue and faster recovery.
2. Support critical areas, muscles and tendons, and help reduce inflammation, swelling and soreness.
3. Non-slip design, even hours after on your feet.
4. Made in 'MERICA!
While they're a little pricey, PRO Compression was kind of enough to let me host a giveaway as well as give my readers 40% off any sock or sleeve item from their website using the code BLG14.
To enter for a chance to win a pair of these snazzy socks:

Hi Carrie,
ReplyDeleteMy name is also Carrie. I am on Day 50 of the workitout100 challenge. As of right now I am doing a cross fit style class three days a week and I am slowly getting back into running after my half marathon on September 6th. I am hoping to do the Shamrock Marathon at Virginia Beach, not the marathon, but the half marathon and 8k (Dolphin Challenge). I am so excited that I found your blog! I hope to hear from you!

Welcome, Carrie! I have running tips scattered throughout my blog so if you decided to do the half marathon, search around on here and hopefully you come across some helpful advice!
DeleteThanks so much! The biggest thing I am worried about is running races back to back. Thanks so much :)
DeleteI'm a runner and my favorite workout is mile repeats. I also like doing a circuit workout that consists of jump squats and jump lunges mixed in with various exercises for the rest of my body.

Hey Carrie!
ReplyDeleteLoved your last article on becoming a runner. Austin marathon is in Feb. And this girl plans to run the whole thing! Any advice?! Besides the socks of course ;) my favorite workout right now is my Sat morning 10 mile sunrise jog.
Hey Toni! That's SO great that you are running the Austin marathon! I've been putting a "all things marathon related" post on the back burner but I've had more than a couple people ask me for advice so I will do my best to get it written up and posted within the next couple weeks! Hopefully it will be helpful and encouraging for you! Hope you're doing well, my friend!
DeleteRunning is my favorite! Running my second marathon in a week and a half!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your upcoming race!
